Clubs here at Janitell give many exciting opportunities such as cooking, art, gardening, and even just homework support. There is a different variety of clubs every day of the week, so there are countless options.

Clubs give students a chance to go have some fun and do something they enjoy before heading home to complete any homework they have. Homework isn’t always the fun, and most of the time students don’t want to do it. Clubs can help students get away for a little while and relax beforehand.

Band Club is one of many options here at Janitell. Our band teacher, Mrs.Casto holds a band club every Thursday afternoon from 3-4. She believes Band Club allows students to go above in beyond in the classroom, as well as learn and enhance their skills on specific concepts. She gets about 15-20 students each week, and thinks it is the perfect number!

The Art teacher, Mrs. Rodriguez, hosts Art Club every Monday. She believes that art club helps students acknowledge everyone's different designs and interests. The club gets to decide their projects as a group, which I think is unique. The number of students on average that arrive there daily, are 12-15. She prefers 15 max, so that is perfect!

Overall, clubs after school are a great opportunity to unleash creativity, and most importantly take a break.
