To help students stay confident and prepared for next year, Mrs. Holling from the Janitell math department has compiled a detailed set of summer math prep resources for students and parents. These resources are designed for students moving into 7th Grade Math, Accelerated 7th, 8th Grade Math, and Algebra 1—with customized review topics and practice links for each level. Students can review important concepts like fractions, decimals, equations, slope, exponents, and more using Virtual Nerd tutorials and curated YouTube videos. Research confirms that students who engage in summer math practice are far less likely to experience learning loss over break (UConn Study, 2022).
