Janitell teacher Ms. Spadoni recently traveled to Orlando, Florida, to attend the 2026 Jostens Renaissance Global Conference, held June 14–16. She joined more than 2,000 educators and student leaders from around the world to explore proven strategies for strengthening school culture, celebrating student achievement, and developing student leadership. During the conference, Ms. Spadoni participated in interactive sessions that focused on collaboration, discussion, problem-solving, and sharing ideas with educators from across the globe.

The conference also brought recognition for Janitell. The school earned a prestigious Gold School of Distinction award through the Jostens Renaissance program, an honor received by only 2% of Renaissance schools worldwide. The award recognizes the outstanding efforts of Janitell students and staff to create a positive, supportive school environment. Ms. Spadoni said she is excited to bring new ideas back to Janitell and continue building a school culture where students and staff can thrive. “Culture doesn't happen by accident,” she said, “and I am excited to continue making my school a better place for students and staff.”
