I look forward to the new year! I am so encouraged by the wonderful community and the amount of support I feel from parents, staff and students. Makes for some great music making. As always, feel free to send me an email or reach out on Parent Square if you have any questions or concerns.

WSD3 Honor Band

Congratulations to Abigail Rensink and Maycee Williams for being selected to Pikes Peak Honor Concert Band and to Juan Hinojosa for a fantastic Jazz concert!

WSD3 Honor Band materials will come out by the end of the month and is open to any 7th or 8th grade student! I will give you a hint, they are very similar to the Pikes Peak Auditions and the High School Directors will be placing you.

Solo and Ensemble

Want to play on your own or in a small group? Solo and Ensemble is a perfect way to refine your skills. If you are interested you should sign up in the band room no later than Feb 2.

This is optional but makes you a much better musician. I am available to help if you want to prepare and pick a solo or ensemble. The event is hosted at Janitell and all fees are covered by the Bands.
